Last year the Nursery children planted carrot seeds. The children were responsibile for looking after them and they have now grown in to carrots. Last week the children learned about harvest and the school visited the church to celebrate harvest festival. This week some of the foundation stage children decided that it was time to harvest the carrots and a group of them dug them up. This is what happened.

The carrots looked delicious and it is important that they know where they come from other than Sainsburys! Did they get a chance to taste them either raw or cooked?
